You've got the power tools. But without the right accessories, you're leaving serious capability on the table. Professional contractors know that a great drill with the wrong bits is still a frustrating experience. Here's what's actually in a pro's kit.

Drill Bit Sets That Don't Snap

The cheap drill bits that come with most starter kits dull fast and snap under real torque. Invest in a high-speed steel (HSS) or cobalt set. For concrete and masonry, you need carbide-tipped rotary hammer bits — don't use standard bits on masonry.

Hole Saws

For running conduit, pipes, or cables through walls and floors, hole saws are the only tool that works. A bi-metal hole saw kit with a pilot bit covers sizes from 3/4" to 2-1/2" — enough for most electrical and plumbing rough-in work.

Impact Sockets & Extensions

Auger Bits for Deep Timber Work
